WORKS ON PAPER
Location:  Park Avenue Armory (Park Avenue at 67th Street, New York City)

This is the ultimate show for all types of works on paper including prints, drawings, watercolors, as well as illustrated books. With over eighty dealers from all over the world, this show is not to be missed. The preview is on Thursday evening, February 28, 2008. Of special note is a wide ranging exhibit for the interesting and unusual artist Kyra Markham. Included will be over twenty of the artist's lithographs and two very special paintings which highlight her unique talent. We will also be bringing a wonderful selection of international color woodcuts, French color etchings, American prints from the 1930's and 40's, as well as several exceptional drawings and watercolors.

Minneapolis Print & Drawing Fair
Location:  Minneapolis Institute of Arts

This wonderful select show sponsored by the Minneapolis Institute of Arts features 10 dealers with a wide variety of specialities who are all members of the International Fine Print Dealers Association. It is my pleasure to inform you that we will be exhibiting for the 2ND time in a special showing of fine prints, paintings, and photographs bringing together three prominent Detroit area dealers: The Halsted Gallery ( Fine Photographs)------- Paramour Fine Arts ( Fine Modern & Contemporary Prints)----------- Stewart & Stewart (Publisher of Fine Contemporary Prints) This exhibition and sale with FREE ADMISSION will take place at the beautiful gallery of the BIRMINGHAM BLOOMFIELD ART CENTER located on Cranbrook Road which is the continuation of Evergreen just north of 14 Mile Road in Birmingham on Friday through Sunday, May 2nd through 4th.--- REFRESHMENTS WILL BE SERVED ON FRIDAY EVENING. Included in our inventory will be the following: American Scene, WPA and traditional prints with examples by Milton Avery, Thomas Hart Benton, Paul Cadmus, John Demartelly, Mabel Dwight, Don Freeman, Rockwell Kent, Clare Leighton, Martin Lewis, Reginald Marsh, John Sloan, Raphael Soyer, James Whistler, Grant Wood, and numerous others----- British and European prints including Gerald Brockhurst, Manuel Robbe, James Tissot, Anders Zorn, as well as many beautiful French color aquatints of the Belle-Epoque era---- African American artists including Benny Andrews, Romare Bearden, Margaret Burroughs, Elizabeth Catlett, Allan Crite, Lois Mailou Jones, Jacob Lawrence, John Wilson, and several others----- Over 400 color woodblock prints of the “Arts and Crafts” era.---- We will have over 1500 fine works for sale

18TH ANNUAL IFPDA PRINT FAIR

The finest print fair of its type in the world. We will be featuring a large group of 20th century international color woodcuts including work by Sybil Andrews, Gustave Baumann, William Greengrass, Mabel Hewitt, and Lil Tschudi. We will also have a large selection of early social realist work from the 1930's. We will also have many important works by George Bellows, Thomas Hart Benton, Mabel Dwight, Fritz Eichenberg, Don Freeman, Isac Friedlander, Martin Lewis, Louis Lozowick, Angelo Pinto, John Sloan, and Grant Wood.
