(1892-1971)

Born in Argentina, he became a leading exponent of Cubism in his native country. He continued to exhibit in Europe in Berlin and Florence. The last three years of his life were in Paris where he wrote his autobiography Un Pintor Ante el Espejo (A Painter Before the Mirror).
