A fine impression very slightly lightstruck with good, possibly full margins. According to the artist: "Earlier in the day this landing craft disgorged its compliment of savagely attacking Americans upon the beach of a Jap held island in the Admirality group. That night, under the protection of darkness, the litter cases and walking wounded file aboard for transportation to a mobile hospital on a nearby island already held by the Americans."
