Lankes, J.J.

(1884-1960)

Born in Buffalo, New York, he was primarily known as a printmaker, illustrator, author, and teacher. He was a prolific printmaker producing numerous woodcuts including a group of 11 produced in the 1920's in collaboration with Charles Burchfield.
