Colwell, Elizabeth

(1881-1954)

Born in Bronson, Michigan, she later studied at the ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO under the supervision of Bror Julius Olsson Nordfeldt and developed a specialty in doing color woodcuts and etchings starting just after the beginning of the 20th century. Her work is rarely seen for sale.
