Glassgold, Harry
(1908-1984)
Born in Austria, Harry emigrated to the United States and in New York studied with Raphael Soyer. He was an art supervisor in the Flint Michigan public schools and was later active producing
silkscreens of his own and also after several notable fellow artists. He was a family friend and I met him around 1980. He was a very interesting man and coincidentally I purchased my
first flat file for print storage from his estate. His modernist prints
are rarely seen for sale.
